Former Lions scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba has left the Shizuoka Blue Revs after making just five appearances in two seasons.
Nohamba joined the Japanese club in 2024 following a standout spell with the Lions, but injuries disrupted his time in League One.
RugbyJP reports that Nohamba featured only four times during his first season in Japan and made just one appearance this campaign, coming off the bench in January’s defeat to the Saitama Wild Knights.

The versatile back, who can play at scrumhalf or flyhalf, was among 14 players released by the Blue Revs following a disappointing season in which the club narrowly missed out on the playoffs.
