Cobus Reinach has provided an update on the knee injury he sustained in Cape Town on Saturday.
The Stormers scrumhalf limped off the field in the 60th minute of the Vodacom URC match against the Glasgow Warriors.
“He’s in a brace and hasn’t been scanned yet,” Stormers coach John Dobson said afterwards. “But I don’t see that being a quick turnaround.
“It looks like a ligament, possibly medial. Hopefully it’s not an ACL, but it’s serious enough to keep him out for a while.”

On Monday, Reinach posted a photo of himself with halfback partner Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, captioned “Not an ACL”.
