Leinster scored five tries, including three in the last 10 minutes, to beat the Lions at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
The 31-7 victory moved Leinster up to third on the Vodacom URC log, with the Lions dropping from third to fifth.
Ivan van Rooyen’s men now travel to Munster for their final-league stage match next Saturday, while Leinster host the Ospreys.
Leinster, who made nine changes to the starting XV that beat Toulon in their Investec Champions Cup semi-final, opened the scoring through centre Jamie Osbourne, with flyhalf Sam Prendergast slotting the touchline conversion.

Lions flyhalf Chris Smith pushed a penalty-goal attempt wide before flank Siba Mahashe’s brilliant try was controversially ruled out for a breakdown infringement in the buildup after intervention from the TMO.
Prop Thomas Clarkson then doubled Leinster’s lead, although he appeared to be short of the tryline.
The Lions hit back through captain Francke Horn, who powered over to make it 14-7 at the break.

A brutal second half followed, with both sides making big hits in defence and carrying hard.
It took until the 70th minute for the deadlock to be broken, Leinster centre Rieko Ioane making a break before drawing the last defender and offloading to replacement flyhalf Hugo Keenan, who dotted down.
Leinster then pulled away. Ioane crossed out wide after being released following another break from deep in his own half to secure the bonus point and winger Jimmy O’Brien added a fifth on the stroke of full-time.
