Springbok centre Jan Serfontein has been ruled out of Saturday’s SA Rugby U23 Cup match against the Stormers XXIII in Cape Town.
Serfontein suffered an MCL injury in last week’s 68-26 hammering of their Cape rivals, which gives Marnus Rademeyer an opportunity in his first start in the blue jersey.
Flank Nama Xaba again leads the side, which shows several other changes, among them the return of fullback Henry Immelman from overseas, regular No 8 JJ Theron slotting in at lock and promising flyhalf Viaan Mentoor returning from injury.
TEAM: Roche, Hartzenberg return for Stormers XXIII
The match kicks off at 4pm after the Vodacom URC fixture between the Stormers and Connacht.
