A former Junior Boks scrumhalf is returning home after helping Bath to a memorable treble-winning campaign.
Neil le Roux, who hails from the Western Cape, first linked up with Bath during a rehabilitation stint with the club’s medical team before earning a contract in the 2023-24 season.
The 21-year-old went on to make 16 appearances for the English side in the famous blue, black and white.
The talented scrumhalf made his professional debut in February last year during Bath’s Premiership Rugby Cup clash against Ampthill.
He also crossed for his first try for the club in the same competition.
Le Roux now departs after being part of Bath’s historic 2024-25 season, where the English outfit completed a rare treble.

Bath paid tribute to the young South African’s contribution during his time at the club, thanking him for his role in their successful campaign.
Le Roux now returns to South Africa with valuable experience gained in one of Europe’s most competitive professional environments, and with silverware already on his CV.
