The Sharks are reportedly targeting another overseas Test flyhalf as they look to bolster their options at No 10 ahead of next season.

The Durban-based outfit have already been linked with Wallaby James O’Connor and Italy’s Tommaso Allan.

According to Rapport, Irish playmaker Ross Byrne has now emerged as another potential target.

The 31-year-old has earned 22 Test caps for Ireland since 2018 and is currently contracted to English Premiership club Gloucester.
