Crusaders wing Kurtis MacDonald copped a 20-minute red card after taking out Blues flyhalf Stephen Perofeta in the air.
The incident took place in the 66th minute of Friday’s Super Rugby Pacific match in Christchurch, which the hosts won 36-20.
