The Sharks have confirmed the departure of midfielder Le Roux Malan to Cardiff Rugby.
The Namibia international will join the Welsh club next season after eight senior appearances for the Sharks during the 2025-26 Vodacom URC and Challenge Cup campaigns.
Cardiff assistant coach Corniel van Zyl said Malan caught the Welsh club’s eye during a recent clash between the teams.

“The project that Corniel laid out is something that excites me. I believe I can learn and grow there as a player and as a person.”
Malan said he was eager to experience the atmosphere at the historic Cardiff Arms Park: “It’s such a historic ground and I can’t wait to represent the club.”
