Former Rondebosch Boys’ High centre Harry Soboil has been selected for the Scotland U19 squad.
The Scots are set to face Italy U19 in two matches.
Soboil starred for the Rondebosch 1st XV last year and was selected for the Western Province U18 Academy Week squad.
He qualifies to play for Scotland through a grandmother who was born in Dundee and has been training with Edinburgh since February.

Several South African schoolboys who matriculated in 2025 have opted to further their rugby careers abroad.

Former Rondebosch and SA U18 flank Josh Neill linked up with Leinster earlier this year and has starred for Ireland U20, while ex-Michaelhouse and Sharks U18 centre Rourke O’Sullivan recently made his Ireland U19 debut.
Bishops utility back Rynard Gordon has joined Ulster’s academy.
