Springbok captain Siya Kolisi addressed Bafana Bafana in Durban on Thursday ahead of their friendly against Panama on Friday night.
Wearing the team’s new kit, Kolisi reportedly provided words of encouragement, urging the players to always stand tall and reminding them that donning the national colours is a privilege and a responsibility.
Kolisi shared several photos on Instagram with the caption “Amaqhawe ethu [Our heroes].”
Bafana Bafana will play Mexico in the opening match of the 2026 Fifa World Cup on 11 June at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
