Provence loose forward Guillaume Piazzoli received a 19-game ban for this act of foul play during a Pro D2 clash against Dax.
Piazzoli was red-carded for kneeing Romuald Séguy in the back of the head after tackling the flyhalf.
He was found guilty of “brutality”, specifically of “striking with his knee”, a LNR statement read.
Piazzoli will miss the remainder of the Pro D2 season as well as some games next season.
