The Sharks have provided an injury update on scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse, who was stretchered from the field at Loftus on Saturday.
The incident took place in the 26th minute of the Vodacom URC match when Hendrikse took a head knock while attempting to make a try-saving tackle on Bulls wing Sebastian de Klerk.
“Jaden Hendrikse underwent precautionary medical scans after being stretchered from the field,” the Sharks said on Monday. “We are pleased to confirm that the scans have cleared him of any serious injury.
“Jaden sustained a concussion and will now follow the standard return-to-play protocols under the guidance of our Sharks medical team.”
The Sharks are next in action against Munster in Durban on 21 March.
